Whispers coming out ofWhitehall suggest that David Beckham is to be knighted on the next honours list. That would make him Sir David Beckham and of course Lady Victoria Beckham.
Am I the only one who remembers just how badly David let his country down during the 1998 World Cup? And isn't the whole point of a knighthood that it's a reward for great services for one's country? Thought so.
